Beauty Packaging’s mission is to keep the industry informed about packaging and trends, and to bring buyers and sellers together in a meaningful and efficient manner. So whatever cosmetic, personal care or fragrance components you’re looking to source—from Applicators to Valves—you’ll find plenty of choices in this issue, which features our 2013 annual edition of Beauty Packaging’s International Buyer’s Guide—your must-have, year-long purchasing reference. Included is a complete alphabetical listing of companies, which serves as a concise contact directory. The hundreds of participating suppliers who have chosen to get on board with Beauty Packaging in this valuable print Guide also have the advantage of being able to constantly update their info in the online version (nitesh_bp.rodpub.com)—so check it often for new products and services.

At this mid-year point, I’d like to take a moment to thank all of the leaders in our industry who are always thoughtful, interested and generous in providing Beauty Packaging with guidance, comments and conversation in developing meaningful content for both our print and online (nitesh_bp.rodpub.com) publications. In particular, I’d like to acknowledge our esteemed Board of Advisors, all of whom I have always been able to count on over the past six years.

If you turn to our Board of Advisors’ page, you’ll see a new smiling face among our regulars. We are excited to welcome Stephanie Martins, vice president packaging and development, corporate operations, North America, L’Oréal. Stephanie not only takes over for Philippe Bonningue at L’Oréal, but has also enthusiastically come on board at Beauty Packaging as one of our industry advisors.
While no longer a Board member, Philippe will continue to contribute to Beauty Packaging from his new post at L’Oréal’s headquarters in Paris, where he takes on a newly created position as global director of sustainable packaging and development. He says, “This position was created because, in its leading position in the cosmetics industry, L’Oréal wants to be an exemplary corporation of the 21st century and wants to bring a special strong focus on its performances in the field of sustainability and CSR.”
As always, my gratitude goes out to Philippe and Stephanie as well as to Allan Hafkin, Jon Dinapoli, Karen Grant, Maureen Kelly and Scott Widro (and of course, John Delfausse, prior to his retirement)—so glad that you have all chosen to come on board as advisors at Beauty Packaging! We sincerely appreciate all that you do!
